Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Cape Town and drive to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. You can visit an ostrich farm, explore the Cango Caves, or enjoy a scenic drive through the Swartberg Pass. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 2: Drive to Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route. Along the way, you can stop at Mossel Bay, where you can visit the Dias Museum or go shark cage diving. In Knysna, you can take a boat cruise on the lagoon, visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve, or shop at the waterfront. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 3: Drive to Plettenberg Bay, a popular seaside town with stunning beaches and activities. You can go whale watching, kayaking, hiking, or visit the Monkeyland and Birds of Eden sanctuaries. Overnight in Plettenberg Bay.
Day 4: Drive back to Cape Town via Hermanus, a charming town famous for its whale watching opportunities. You can also stop at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, or visit some of the wineries in the region. Arrive in Cape Town in the evening.
