Itinerary
Day 1: Hike up Chapmans Peak and Lions Head for stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the city skyline. Chapmans Peak is a moderate hike that takes about 2 hours, while Lions Head is a
more challenging hike that takes about 3 hours. Both offer panoramic vistas and scenic photo opportunities.
Day 2: Relax and swim at the Camps Bay Tidal Pools, which are natural rock pools filled with seawater. The pools are safe and clean, and offer a refreshing break from the heat. You can also enjoy the sandy beach, the trendy cafes and bars, and the sunset views at Camps Bay.
Day 3: Explore the V&A Waterfront, which is a bustling hub of shopping, dining, entertainment, and culture. You can visit the Two Oceans Aquarium, the Cape Wheel, the Zeitz MOCAA Museum, and the Robben Island Museum. You can also take a boat cruise, watch street performers, or sample local delicacies at the food market.
Day 4: Visit Boulders Beach, where you can see hundreds of African penguins in their natural habitat. You can walk along the boardwalks, observe the penguins from a distance, or even swim with them in the clear water. Then, head to Cape Point, which is the most south-western point of Africa. You can admire the rugged cliffs, the lighthouse, and the ocean views. If you are lucky, you might also spot some whales along the way.
